ESD Footwear
What & Why ESD (Electrical Static Discharge) is important
ESD is an electrical discharge caused by the transfer of static electricity from one object to another. The electrical discharge can form by rubbing and separation between two different materials; for example by walking on synthetic floors, by rubbing the body on synthetic clothing, by moving plastic containers and by unrolling adhesive PVC tape. The resistance of Safety footwear towards ground has to be less than 35 Mohm according to CE EN 61340-5-1 ESD Standard.

high electrostatic dissipation
Which Environments do ESD footwear used?
Footwear in the ESD line guarantees high electrostatic dissipation in environments with electronically controlled machinery, PCB board (printed Circuit Board) Factories assembly of microchips or transistors , chemical industries and environments with explosion risks.
